About Mâmawihitowin
Lac Ste. Anne Métis Community Association’s third annual Mâmawitowin Summer Gathering returns to Heritage Park in Stony Plain, AB on Saturday, July 25 from 11:00 am – 8:00 pm. Mâmawitowin, a Cree term meaning a gathering of peoples, celebrates the rich history, heritage, and contributions of the Lac Ste. Anne Métis community.
Mâmawitowin 2026 is shaping up to be our best event yet!
FREE FOR ALL AGES: Family-friendly daytime activities geared towards cross-cultural engagement, learning and fun, and with music and dance performances extending into early evening.
ARTS & CULTURE: Performances by over a dozen First Nation, Métis, and Inuit performers and artists and featuring multi-award winning Juno artist Susan Aglukark.
ARTISAN MARKET: First Nation, Métis, and Inuit vendors.
